Jeffrey Jackson MD

Dr. Jeffrey Jackson joined the family medicine residency program as faculty in October of 2022.  He is a native of Arlington, Texas, and attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he received a BA in Business Administration.  He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his MD.  He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also earned the Intern of the Year Award. 

Dr. Jackson has practiced in a wide variety of locations including urgent care, integrative medicine, FQHC, corrections medicine, and private practice in both inner city and rural locations. He is currently a fellow with the AFMRD National Institute for Program Director Development. He is married and lives in Pittsburgh with his husband and enjoys reading, playing piano, and adding to his extensive LEGO collection
