I’m a 59 year old family physician originally from Penn Hills Pa. My wife Maureen, a pediatrician, have been married for 31 years and we’ve been practicing our specialties for over 30 years. Presently we make our home in Natrona Heights.
Having trained in Michigan and Pennsylvania, I’m now board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. It was a blessing indeed to join the teaching faculty here at Latterman in May of 2017. Prior to that, I’ve worked in group family practices in both Latrobe and Murrysville. From 2012-2014, it was an honor to serve as the first chief medical officer at UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville.
My background and areas of interest include the full spectrum of care in family medicine and as well as management of substance use disorders including all forms of addiction. Spirituality as it contributes to health is also a passion of mine. Management of chronic pain in the setting of behavioral and addiction disorders is also a special interest.
During my free moments, I enjoy bicycle riding, bible study, and playing the soprano saxophone. Most of all, it’s my joy and delight to spend time with my dear wife and three children, Connor, Avery and Evan.
