I was born in Minnesota and spent most of my life there, including going to the University of Minnesota as an undergrad. I have been living in Pittsburgh for the past 4 years while I attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I have come to really enjoy living and working in and around the Pittsburgh area, which is part of the reason I applied to the UPMC McKeesport FM Residency Program! I am interested in addiction medicine, pain medicine, and LGBTQ+ health.
In my free time, I like to play video games (RPGs and turn-based strategy games mostly), hang out with my two lovable but mischievous cats, and spend time with my wonderful fiancé Alex. I also know far too much trivia about professional wrestling.
