A McKeesport Tiger, Michael grew up in White Oak and attended and graduated from McKeesport School District. After high school, Michael stayed in McKeesport while attending college at Penn State University - Greater Allegheny where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Psychology. While attending college, Michael was the Vice President/Co-Founder of the college drama club and the President/Founder of the Campus Choir.
After graduation from college, Michael explored the opportunities presented to him by accepting positions in a variety of fields including management in marketing, appraisals, healthcare staffing and the funeral industries. He refers to himself as a multi-passionate, creative person and loves to make others smile. In 2021 Michael and his wife started their own out-of-home bakery business in honor of Michael's late grandfather. Aside from baking/cooking, Michael loves spending time with his wife, son and extended family, singing, building things with his hands, watching and playing sports and writing.
Michael loves being part of the Family Medicine Residency Program Family and loves interacting with new people. He hopes he can continue to play his role to ensure the residents, patients and the McKeesport community are well taken care of; because as two great men once said, "Be excellent to each other, party on dudes!"
