Shari Holland MA LPC

Shari Holland received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Walsh College in Ohio. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as being Nationally Certified. She has managed outpatient programs and has been a child, adolescent & family therapist for over 20 years. Shari began teaching behavioral science in 2003 and joined the faculty at UPMC McKeesport in 2008. Her focus in the residency program is on teaching behavioral science and includes conducting Balint and resident support groups, teaching behavioral science, videotaped reviews with residents, inpatient rounds, outpatient behavioral precepting, counseling patients, and community education. Her interests include women’s health and community medicine. She is married and enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, exploring new places, biking on trails, music, spending time with her husband, and walking her dogs, and she wishes she had more time for all of them.
