Tsion G Tesfaye MD MPH

I grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where I got my medical degree from Myungsung Medical College. After that, I made my way to Ohio for an MPH at Kent State University. While there, I also worked as a research assistant, helping to spread the word about mental health in the county.

I chose UPMC McKeesport because they really focus on underserved communities, which I love. When I'm not busy, I like to stay active, enjoy the great outdoors, and try out new things!
